Self taught singer/songwriter Jason Clarke will play support to Tommy Reilly in Spring & Airbrake.
Clarke started writing at the tender age of 18, with his first song “Payback”. It was a chance meeting with Brian Kennedy which gave Jason the boost of confidence to move from playing guitar to songwriting.

Jason believes that his writing style is constantly evolving with every song.

Now, at the age of 25, and having just graduated from university, he is concentrating on making a name for himself in the world of singer/songwriters.
The Belfast born singer is certainly not an amateur musician, having supported Paolo Nutini on tour and has shared the stage with well known bands such as Fighting with Wire, General Fiasco and Jetplane Landing.

He has also co-written and been master classed by world renowned professional song-writers, including Beth Nielsen Chapman, Iain Archer and JD Souther.

He has often been compared to that of Cat Stevens and Tracey Chapman due to the acoustic nature of his writing with his new collection of songs, representing a deeper more mature sound.

In 2006 Jason released an EP of six songs and later reworked the EP by adding new tracks resulting in his completed debut album – Talking In Hindsight.

Jason is working hard to make sure you see him on a stage somewhere soon.
