Clementine Douglas steps further into her own artist project with Trust, a self-written, self-produced and self-vocalled new single released via Warner Records.
Built for the dancefloor without losing its emotional edge, the track pairs resonant piano, sharp hi-hats and brass with Douglas’ distinctive vocal, using modern dating anxiety as the tension underneath the club-ready production.
Been deep in the mix working on new music and I’m so excited for you to hear my new single ‘Trust’, I poured a lot of love into this one and am very proud of her. Hope you enjoyyy
The release arrives after several years of Douglas becoming one of UK dance music’s most recognisable voices. Her credits include Calvin Harris’ platinum UK Top 3 single Blessings, alongside collaborations with David Guetta, Chase & Status, Sonny Fodera, Dom Dolla and The Blessed Madonna.
In 2026, her songwriting work has also extended across projects involving Jessie Ware, Jorja Smith and Wizkid, Melanie C, Majid Jordan and Paloma Faith.
A two-time BRIT nominee, Douglas has increasingly moved beyond featured-vocal territory into a more self-contained role as songwriter, producer and artist.
That shift is what makes Trust interesting for FM PRO TECH. The production is not simply supporting her voice anymore; Douglas is controlling the complete system around it.
After years helping define other artists’ records, Trust sounds like the point where the credits and the identity finally sit in the same place.
