LISA approaches her new six-track EP, Press Play, as a cinematic experience, pairing the release with a hotel-set action video for Tarantino.
Out via LLOUD Co./RCA Records, Press Play is conceived with a film in mind: a project for listeners to sit down with and experience right from start to finish.
That premise gets its clearest visual expression in Tarantino. The video follows LISA through a hotel as she attempts to deliver a note to her favourite director, Quentin Tarantino. Her route becomes a succession of confrontations, with fight sequences driving the story as she punches her way past anyone blocking her path.
The EP also includes SaWaDiKa, named after the Thai greeting for “hello”. Its accompanying video was filmed in her native Bangkok, bringing a different setting to a campaign shaped around location, movement and screen storytelling. The remaining tracks are V12, Cobra, Cut U Off and Sweat.
Press Play follows LISA’s debut solo album, Alter Ego, released in February 2025 through the partnership between her own company, LLOUD, and RCA Records. Her documentary, Always Lalisa, directed by Sue Kim, traces that period through the launch of LLOUD, the album campaign and her solo Coachella debut.
The next setting is Las Vegas. In November, LISA takes Viva La Lisa to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a six-night residency, moving from the EP’s cinematic framework into a sustained run on stage.
