House producer and DJ Canetis (aka Mark Mannara) lights up the floor with JOANA — a vibrant fusion of Brazilian funk and house that celebrates rhythm, freedom, and pure alegria.
Born in Rome, raised in Milan, forged in NYC’s underground — Canetis has torched stages across the US, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and Italy.
JOANA bottles that heat: samba percussion, deep bass, and playful Portuguese vocals locked in one irresistible groove. Canetis explains:
JOANA represents your free-spirited Brazilian girl — the one who parties, laughs, and lives without apology. It’s an ode to Brazilian people and their love for life.
Written in Portuguese and born from a real crush, the track channels Canetis’ deep dive into Brazilian culture — language learned, music studied, admiration turned into art.
With JOANA, Canetis bridges continents and cultures, creating a house anthem that feels global, joyful, and built for every dancefloor.
