Manchester singer-songwriter Bec O’Malley follows his breakout debut Let You Go with Two People Talking, an acoustic-led blend of country, folk, and Americana grounded in Northern storytelling.
Layered vocals and stripped-back production frame the conversations that can quietly begin a friendship, relationship, or future regret. O’Malley explains:
Two people talking is proof that the biggest stories start with the smallest conversations. Whether that’s the beginning of forever or the start of a mistake.
The Stockport artist first attracted attention through an unpolished cover filmed while hiking in the Peak District. Since then, years of local gigs, Irish-bar performances, and songwriting sessions across Manchester and Liverpool have shaped a sound that filters country storytelling through a distinctly North West perspective.

Following a major London support appearance and more than 1.4 million Spotify streams for Let You Go, Two People Talking strengthens O’Malley’s position as a rising independent voice built on emotional honesty rather than borrowed American mythology.
