Bank of America has released Street of Dreams, a new short film powered by its FIFA World Cup 2026 partnership and set to a new U2 track of the same name.

The film follows Calle, played by newcomer Nevaeh Derricks, a young girl facing homelessness who uses soccer as a source of purpose and escape. David Beckham appears as her symbolic inner voice, representing belief, support, and the power of someone showing up.

Beckham says the campaign matters because it helps young people facing major challenges:

be seen, heard and given the opportunity to build brighter futures…

using sport to create confidence, connection, and possibility.

The campaign links Bank of America’s Soccer with Us platform with Street Child United’s wider work around street-connected young people. By the end of 2026, the bank says it aims to reach more than one million young people globally through soccer-led programmes combining sport, access, and life skills.

The release also connects to Street Child United’s #IAmSomebody Tour, which brought young leaders from the Street Child World Cup to communities and decision-makers across North America during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

U2 describe Street Child United as

a little NGO and a very big deal for kids with so much talent but no access

adding that the organisation gives young people…

a stage, a voice and the chance to be celebrated for who they are rather than defined by the circumstances they were born into.

For FM PRO TECH, the signal is the crossover: Street of Dreams turns music, sport, film, brand strategy, and social impact into one campaign system.
