FM PRO TECH CULTURE
Kate Spade New York has named Tyla as its new Global Brand Ambassador, bringing the South African artist into the fashion brand’s 2026 fall campaign.
The partnership connects Tyla’s music, personal style and wider A*POP album era with a campaign spanning social content, in-store advertising, product and global creative.
Tyla radiates what Kate Spade New York is all about: joy, optimism, and a confidence that lifts everyone around her. From her music to her personal style, she makes people feel something. That’s rare. And she’s doing it at a pivotal moment in her career—a new album, a new chapter, and the world watching. – Eva Erdmann, CEO and Brand President of Kate Spade New York.
Tyla will make her first appearance for the brand in its fall 2026 campaign, built around the idea of joy hiding in plain sight.
The creative includes references to her sophomore album A*POP, while positioning the Duo Mini shoulder bag as one of the campaign’s central products.
The wider partnership will continue across brand campaigns, digital content, retail advertising and selected public appearances.
Kate Spade New York also marked the announcement alongside Tyla at a Los Angeles album launch event.
For FM PRO TECH, the key is the campaign structure. Rather than using Tyla as a conventional celebrity face, Kate Spade is connecting her music, style, content and fan culture across one shared brand world.
It reflects a wider shift toward artist partnerships built around culture and audience, not just product visibility.
