Dutch blues-rock veterans The Liberators embrace raw performance on One Take, a seven-track live album recorded at Maastricht’s Bankastudios without overdubs.
Developed with Grammy-nominated producer Blake Eisenman, the project captures the band’s grit, spontaneity and live chemistry.
The album also introduces jazz keyboardist Coen van Dam. His playing adds a fresh dimension to the band’s established mix of Southern blues, rock ’n’ roll and soul.

Formed in 1979, The Liberators have spent more than four decades touring Europe and releasing music through labels including Polydor, Phonogram and GMR Music. Their 2020 album Troubled Mind was recognised among the Netherlands’ standout blues releases.
With One Take, the Maastricht outfit opens a new chapter by trusting the moment: seven performances, no second chances and no studio safety net.
One Take is out now across all major streaming platforms.
