SOMBR is taking a self-written, co-produced pop catalogue from a Lower East Side bedroom studio into Europe’s biggest arenas, with his 2027 YOU ARE THE REASON TOUR ending at London’s The O2 on June 22nd.
The run opens in Oslo on May 8th before hitting Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Antwerp, Berlin, Prague, Paris, Cologne, Zurich, Munich, Vienna and Amsterdam.
Since breaking through with Back to Friends in 2025, SOMBR — real name Shane Boose — has moved quickly from digital breakout to arena act while remaining the sole songwriter and co-producer across his catalogue.
Back to Friends reached the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10, topped Spotify’s Global and U.S. charts and later hit No.1 on U.S. Pop Radio. Debut album I Barely Know Her extended that momentum, with Undressed and 12 to 12 both reaching the Top 20 of the Billboard Global 200 and Hot 100.
He entered 2026 with a Best New Artist GRAMMY nomination, following a Best Alternative win at the MTV VMAs and appearances on Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The tour announcement follows new single My Body Isn’t Ready, continuing SOMBR’s mix of vulnerable songwriting, indie-rock textures and arena-sized pop.
Support comes from Ravyn Lenae, Jessie Maizin and Suki Waterhouse, depending on the date.
Festival appearances include Malahide Castle, Belsonic, Glasgow Summer Sessions and I-DAYS Milan.
For FM PRO TECH, the interesting part is the transition itself: songs built through an intimate bedroom-production process now have to retain that closeness inside full-band arena systems.
The rooms are getting bigger. The real test is making sure the music does not lose its intimacy with them.
