Rusty Shackle open their Mayfield chapter with Your Arrows, a defiant folk-rock cut wired for the live room rather than polished into submission.
Based in Caldicot, Wales, the six-piece bring live-band force rather than studio gloss. Built around resistance, belief, and self-doubt losing the room, Your Arrows – released via Get Folked Records – draws on American Western imagery and lands with a chorus made to hit like a battlecry.
Musically, the track keeps it physical: punchy drums, bluesy stomp, tight guitar-fiddle interplay, wide lead vocals, and full-band gang vocals built for the live room.
Your Arrows opens the road to Mayfield, which the band will release and showcase at Caldicot Castle on Saturday 29 August with special guests Taff Rapids, Tom Jenkins, and Ernie Emmanuel.
With Your Arrows, Rusty Shackle sharpen their folk-rock identity into something louder, tougher, and fully road-ready.
