In 2018, artist Patrick Miranda, alongside Xavier Hofmann and Sacha Ewen, took a leap into the unknown and founded Pleasing. Driven by Miranda’s search for solace from complex emotions, the trio embarked on a journey to explore themes of depression, loneliness, and the quest for meaning. Despite tackling often stigmatized topics, Pleasing has garnered widespread appeal, securing spots at major French festivals like Motorcultor and Francofolies de la Rochelle in 2023.

As they prepare to release the second of their two interlinked EPs, Pleasing continues to delve into deeper meanings, striving to expand their audience reach across various territories.

With bleak, Pleasing reaffirms their dedication to exploring the intricacies of human emotion and experience, ensuring an EP that will captivate audiences and leave a lasting impact. Keep an ear out for Pleasing’s forthcoming releases as they push creative boundaries and cement their position in the music industry.
