Øneheart Confronts Digital Anxiety on ‘internetisNOTsafe’

After billions of streams established Øneheart as a major force in ambient music, the 20-year-old producer is entering a more vocal, rhythm-driven phase with internetisNOTsafe, the first single from his forthcoming album.

Built around futuristic synths, robotic vocal samples and sharp drum-machine production, the dance-infused track channels the rush and unease of life online. Its euphoric drop contrasts with a darker theme: how the internet can shift from a valuable tool into a persistent source of anxiety.

The single also features Øneheart’s own vocals, extending his evolution beyond the largely instrumental soundscapes that first brought him global attention.

Originally from a small Russian town and raised in a musical family, Øneheart achieved viral success with snowfall, his collaboration with reidenshi. The producer has since worked with Moby and remixed Ledbyher’s UP TO MY NECK IN U, with the new version premiered during her sold-out London headline show in May.

With internetisNOTsafe, Øneheart is making a calculated transition from ambient virality towards a broader electronic identity. The real test will be whether the forthcoming album can convert billions of passive streams into an audience ready to follow him beyond the algorithm.
