JAŸ-Z is extending the celebration of his 30-year career beyond the concert stage with a limited-run London pop-up combining music, merchandise, publishing and live DJ programming.
Opening at UMusic Shop Camden on 27 August, the experience arrives ahead of his two Tottenham Hotspur Stadium shows on 4 and 5 September—his only UK performances in the anniversary series.
Running until 2 September, the pop-up will offer limited-edition JAY-Z 30 London merchandise, pieces from the wider anniversary collection, Armand de Brignac and The Book of HOV: A Tribute to JAY-Z by Assouline.
The programme also connects the retail space directly to London’s music culture. DJ Target, DJ Manny Norté, DJ Semtex and DJ Esi will perform selected evening sets between 17:00 and 19:00.
Located inside Camden’s Stables Market, UMusic Shop includes a vinyl store, listening studio, vinyl lounge, performance stage and dedicated merchandise space. That setup allows the anniversary campaign to operate as more than a temporary shop, connecting physical products with music discovery and live programming.
The London concerts follow JAY-Z’s three-night run at Yankee Stadium, which featured appearances from Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Usher, Eminem, Nas, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Slick Rick, Fat Joe, Jadakiss and Teyana Taylor.
Further anniversary performances are scheduled for Paris on 10 September and Los Angeles on 23 and 24 October.
For artists with established catalogues, anniversary campaigns increasingly provide an opportunity to create new value around past work.
