Set for 10–12 February 2026 in Mumbai – India International Music Week (IIMW) – the country’s first international music trade conference-meets-showcase reveals its opening artist lineup — and signals a sharper, more globally connected edition.

After a breakout debut in Goa that drew nearly 400 delegates from 30+ countries, IIMW returns bigger, more outward-facing, and firmly positioned within the global circuit.

The first wave of artists reflects IIMW’s core mission: global music mobility. Genre-fluid, borderless, and future-facing, the lineup cuts across alternative, pop, jazz, electronic, soul, and experimental forms — with artists arriving from India, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, and South Africa. Less scene tourism, more real exchange.

2026 widens the framework: an expanded conference and showcase, new strands for innovation and cultural exchange, multi-city artist tours, and tighter links between global markets and India’s fast-moving ecosystem. The focus shifts from visibility to movement — of artists, ideas, and opportunity.

Backed by India Music Exchange, IIMW sits where culture meets commerce, with collaboration and export baked into the framework. If 2025 proved the concept, 2026 scales it — placing South Asia firmly in the global music conversation.
