Sleep Token’s low-end architecture is moving from the stage into two signature instruments developed with Jackson and Charvel.
Created to the specifications of guitarist IV and bassist III, the new models translate the band’s unusually heavy tunings, tonal clarity and atmospheric range into purpose-built hardware. The release marks Sleep Token’s first signature collaboration with the Fender-owned brands.
The Jackson Pro Plus Series Signature Sleep Token IV Monarkh SC is designed around IV’s whole-octave-down tuning. Its extended 30-inch scale and EverTune 6 bridge with custom saddles are intended to maintain definition and tuning stability at frequencies where conventional guitar designs can struggle.
Direct-mounted Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers provide multiple tonal options, supporting the movement between ambient clean passages and heavily saturated riffs that defines much of Sleep Token’s sound. The instrument also features a mahogany body, quilt maple veneer, three-piece caramelized maple set neck, pale moon ebony fingerboard and 22 stainless-steel frets.

III’s Charvel Signature Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass V takes a similarly technical approach to extended-range performance. Its five-string, multi-scale construction runs from 34.4 to 35.5 inches, balancing string tension and intonation while preserving the percussive attack central to his playing.
Custom red Fishman Fluence soap-bar pickups offer three selectable voicings, supported by a two-band Fishman EQ and pickup-blend control. The bass also includes a poplar body, caramelized maple neck and fingerboard, compound-radius fretboard, Luminlay side dots and Hipshot Ultra Lite tuners.
The Jackson model is priced at £1,949 in the UK, while the Charvel bass carries a UK price of £1,399.
Rather than applying Sleep Token branding to familiar designs, Jackson and Charvel have built around the physical demands of the band’s music.
The extended scales, tuning systems and configurable electronics show how modern instrument engineering can make extreme low frequencies feel controlled, articulate and playable.
