Expert Insights

Sean Walsh, Head of Marketing for Protectivity, noted that clubs offer intimate live music experiences, which are equally important as big concert halls. Tracking event numbers can reveal popular and emerging music trends, showcasing the vibrant UK music scene.

“People often associate music venues with big concert halls because they are more prominent and often host well-known artists, while clubs are equally valid as music venues as they offer a more intimate setting where audiences can experience live music up close and personal.  Tracking which music venues hold the most concerts or performances can be interesting as a way to showcase the types of music that are popular or emerging, providing insight into a music scene’s vibrant and diverse selection.”
