Comscore has expanded its audio advertising technology through new integrations with Spotify, SiriusXM, Triton Digital, Acast and Libsyn.
Using Proximic by Comscore’s transcript-level intelligence, advertisers can now analyse the actual content of individual podcast episodes and streaming environments before placing campaigns.
The system moves beyond broad genre labels and demographic assumptions by identifying the topics, language and context inside specific recordings. Advertisers can then apply brand-safety controls, suitability classifications and AI-powered Predictive Audiences across programmatic audio inventory.
By delivering transcript-level intelligence based on what is actually being said during an episode, Proximic is helping advertisers invest with confidence and reach listeners in the moments and environments that matter. – Jessica Trainor, Head of Partnerships at Proximic by Comscore.
The integrations are designed to give buyers greater control over where advertisements appear while helping podcast and streaming platforms attract more investment through improved targeting and accountability.
Podcast advertising isn’t just an afterthought anymore; it’s a core buy. By bringing Proximic by Comscore’s transcript-level intelligence to Acast, we’re giving advertisers the granular control they’ve been asking for. Valerie Reimer, SVP Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Acast.
SiriusXM and AdsWizz will use the technology across tens of millions of podcast episodes, while Triton Digital will support its use across fragmented streaming, podcast and broadcast-audio inventory.
For FM PRO TECH, the bigger shift is how spoken audio is becoming machine-readable advertising infrastructure.
Transcript-level analysis gives advertisers episode-specific context, bringing podcast targeting closer to the precision of video, connected television and display.
It could attract more podcast advertising, but platforms must explain how AI classifies content and how creators benefit.
