Charlotte Plank and NOTION reconnect on Burberry, transforming a long-developed demo into a bass-heavy crossover built around ethereal vocals, tension-driven production and an instantly memorable central hook.

Written in May 2024 and refined through live performances, the fan favourite reunites Plank and NOTION after Temporary Friends. Plank explains:

I originally wrote Burberry back in May 2024…it’s been a record I’ve been developing for years, performing it across tours and festival stages. It’s definitely a fan favourite that’s been consistently requested! There was something so addictive about it, that we all kept going back to…NOTION and I were really looking for the perfect track to reunite on after Temporary Friends. This felt like it really struck a chord with us both and NOTION’s incredibly unique production breathed new life into the demo.

NOTION’s rumbling bass production contrasts with Plank’s ethereal vocals and emotional storytelling.

Oh don’t you cry for me, you got a crisscross on your heart for me. Stitched together broken parts, stained work of art, this could be the start. Let this be the start. Baby you can wear me like Burberry.

The single arrives after NOTION’s sets at Boomtown and Chicago’s Lollapalooza. His recent output includes the viral remix of Chrystal’s The Days and collaborations with Nate Sib, Willow Kayne, Slew and Irah.

For Plank, Burberry follows crybby blue and her Billboard Dance Top 20 appearance on jigitz’s ‘car crash’. It also previews her forthcoming project, developed alongside New York producer Aire Atlantica, whose credits include SZA, INJA, Jigitz, King Princess and Obongjayar.

Burberry pairs Plank’s distinctive songwriting with the scale and bass pressure of NOTION’s production.
