Italian singer-songwriter Charlie Risso prepares to take listeners on a captivating journey with her newest release, Good Track, the second single from her forthcoming album, Alive. Set to debut on April 26, 2024, via German label T3 Records in CD, LP, and digital formats, this entrancing song comes paired with a visually stunning music video directed by Marco Pellegrino.

The video, showcasing eerie imagery of larvae within a miniature Renaissance cityscape, expertly captures the song’s haunting essence. With Good Track, Risso further cements her reputation as a profoundly sensitive and visionary artist.

Hailing from Genoa and influenced by her experiences in Milan and London, Risso’s global upbringing infuses her music with a unique blend of melancholy and the ability to transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries.

Produced by Nicola Baronti and featuring collaborations with esteemed artists such as Hugo Race, H.E.R., and Roberto Dell’Era, the album delves into the depths of human emotion, exploring various aspects of the soul with Risso’s distinctive lyrical and musical expertise.

Each track on Alive serves as a vibrant portrayal of the complex emotions that shape our lives, meticulously crafted by Risso with attention to detail and depth. Immersing oneself in the album encourages listeners to delve into their innermost feelings, truly listen, and appreciate the captivating beauty of Risso’s sonic landscape, pushing the boundaries of musical expression.

Risso told us: “Growing up and being heavily influenced by the Twin Peaks era, particularly its distinctive soundscapes, David Lynch’s aesthetic has profoundly shaped the sound and themes of my album Alive. I have a deep admiration for Lynch’s work, which seamlessly aligns with the mysterious, naturalistic contexts that I adore. His ability to evoke a sense of eerie beauty and intrigue through his sonic range has directly influenced the atmosphere of my album, infusing it, I guess with a haunting allure that resonates throughout each track

Risso debuted in 2016 with Ruins of Memories, produced by M. Cominotto. Her subsequent albums, including 2020’s Tornado and 2022’s The Light, demonstrate her growth as an artist, blending indie, dream pop, and rock influences.

Charlie Risso’s latest offering provides a comforting refuge for those seeking solace through music, guiding listeners on a heartfelt journey that resonates long after the final notes fade away. With Alive, Risso invites us to embark on a soul-stirring experience that promises to leave an enduring impact on our hearts and minds.
