Fresh off GRAMMY history, with DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS becoming the first fully Spanish-language Album of the Year, Bad Bunny closed an unprecedented week by headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.

As the first Latin male artist to lead the halftime stage, and the first to pair a GRAMMY AOTY win with a Super Bowl performance in the same week, the moment landed as a cultural pivot, not just a career high.

The 13-minute set played as a cinematic homage to Puerto Rico, reshaping the field into a lived landscape of labour, memory, and everyday Latino life. At its centre stood La Casita, Bad Bunny’s recurring symbol of community and gathering, scaled up for the world’s biggest broadcast without losing its intimacy.

Musically fluid, the performance moved between reggaetón, orchestral interludes, and salsa, blurring spectacle with human detail. Highlights included a live on-stage wedding during Baile Inolvidable, a stadium-wide NUEVAYoL moment with Toñita, and an unscripted exchange with a young fan — grounding the spectacle in human possibility rather than excess.

Ricky Martin appeared for LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii before the set pivoted through El Apagón into CAFé CON RON with Los Pleneros de la Cresta, grounding the finale in tradition and collective rhythm.

The closing image completed the arc: as DtMF played, Bad Bunny raised a football reading “TOGETHER, WE ARE AMERICA” beneath a billboard declaring “THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE,” as performers exited together under flags from across the Americas.

Executive produced by Roc Nation with Rimas Entertainment, the show functioned less as a hit parade and more as a cultural narrative.

With a sold-out DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS world tour resuming next, Bad Bunny continues to operate not just at pop’s highest level, but as one of the defining cultural forces of his generation.
