Audrey Nuna’s next solo chapter is arriving through more than a conventional single rollout.
The Korean-American artist returns with superHUman, her first solo release since 2024 album TRENCH, pairing a new Cirkut-produced sound with Riot Games’ global VALORANT ecosystem and an increasingly ambitious live production.
Released via Republic Records, superHUman was created with Cirkut, whose credits include Rihanna, Lady Gaga and The Weeknd. The track moves between progressive rap, melodic vocals and futuristic electronic production, with Nuna shifting from clipped verses into a more exposed, atmospheric bridge.
Its central refrain — “I’m on my superHuman shit” — gives the record its confidence, but Nuna describes the idea behind it in more complicated terms. Audrey explains:
superHuman is a portal. I wrote this song in a time in my life where a lot was changing very quickly, and I felt more perceived by the world than I ever had before. I wanted to capture that feeling – of redemption, of validation, of the tides finally turning. In the same breath, I wanted to quietly remind myself and others to stay human, stay open, to flow like water through all of the changes & that being more human will always be a superpower if we allow it.

The release also extends Nuna’s relationship with Riot Games, with superHUman serving as an official track for the 2026 VALORANT Champions Tour. It follows her previous VALORANT collaboration TOXIC, produced with King Mala.
That connection is becoming an increasingly important lane for contemporary artists. Competitive gaming platforms can now operate as global music-discovery environments, placing tracks inside tournaments, broadcasts and digital communities that stretch well beyond traditional radio or playlist campaigns.
Nuna arrives at this campaign with considerably wider visibility following her role as the singing voice of Mira in KPop Demon Hunters. Rather than treating that success as a separate screen project, superHUman redirects the attention toward her own artist identity across hip-hop, pop and alternative R&B.
The same expansion is happening live.
Following the launch of a new show at Rock in Rio Lisboa, Nuna has taken a production incorporating dancers, choreography, immersive visuals and unreleased material through Summerfest, Open’er Festival, Roskilde, Ruisrock, Gurtenfestival Bern and Colours of Ostrava.
Her remaining August dates include Summer Sonic in Tokyo and Osaka, Frequency Festival in Austria and Pukkelpop in Belgium.
Festival Dates
August 14 — Summer Sonic 2026, Tokyo
August 16 — Summer Sonic 2026, Osaka
August 21 — Frequency Festival, St. Pölten
August 23 — Pukkelpop, Hasselt
For FM PRO TECH, superHUman is interesting because the campaign is functioning across several systems simultaneously: high-level pop production, gaming integration, animation-driven global visibility and a live show increasingly built around choreography and immersive visual design.
The record may be the centre of it, but the infrastructure around the music is becoming just as significant. Audrey Nuna’s next era is not being confined to a streaming release — it is being engineered to travel between headphones, game broadcasts, screens and festival stages.
