Following a UK No.1 Rock & Metal debut (Rave Immortal), a MOBO win, and a 2025 EU/UK arena support run with Pendulum, ALT BLK ERA – sisters Nyrobi (21) and Chaya (18) Beckett-Messam – re-enter with Our World. A strategic EP release landing May 22 via LAB Records. This is consolidation, not reset.

Lead single Tissues sharpens their hybrid framework: EDM propulsion under distorted guitar weight, hook-forward toplines over punch-tight production. The mix leans commercial without diluting edge ; high-impact low end, vocal contrast driving the centre. Pop immediacy, alt infrastructure. Nyrobi shares:

After opening up about my hidden disability…it feels like there’s no topic we should be scared of singing about. With all that’s going on in the world, it was good to talk about feeling overwhelmed with emotions; over a hyper/pop rock beat. The juxtaposition of it almost feels therapeutic.

Thematically, overwhelm becomes release valve. Sonically, juxtaposition is weaponised. Atharsis embedded in tempo.

Fresh off the Pendulum tour, the duo translate stage scale into headline control, launching their own UK run alongside the EP. Confidence is the through-line; not experimentation for its own sake, but refinement of a now-proven cross-genre architecture.

We’re having so much fun exploring our sound, and it feels like we’re really stepping into ourselves with every song. We’re so excited for the headline tour! We have so many things planned, and it’s going to be next-level insane. After touring with Pendulum, we feel more confident on stage. It’s definitely something to look forward to, for us and for our audience.

With Our World, ALT BLK ERA position themselves beyond breakout status; tightening the system that made them visible in the first place.
