Award-winning Canadian producer, songwriter, artist, and music executive Kayla Diamond has signed with Mono Music Group for management, marking a new international chapter in her career.
The move brings Diamond into the LA-based management company led by Gary Marella and Sharona Nomder, whose roster includes major producer and songwriter talent such as Timbaland and Larrance “Rance 1500” Dopson.
The signal here is bigger than a management signing. Diamond represents the modern producer economy in motion: songwriting, production, sync, artist development, executive ownership, and global creative partnerships moving through one career system.
Her credits include JUNO Award-nominated artists The Strumbellas, Jamie Fine, Dom Vallie, and more, with work placed across film, television, and streaming platforms worldwide. Most recently, she wrote, produced, and performed the title sequence for Rebel Wilson’s feature film Bride Hard. Diamond said:
Joining Gary and Sharona’s roster is an exciting milestone in my career. While I remain deeply committed to supporting and developing Canadian talent, I’m looking forward to this partnership and the opportunity to continue growing my work on a global scale.

Sharona Nomder, President of Mono Music Group said:
Kayla Diamond is the kind of rare talent that comes along once in a while – a phenomenal writer and producer with incredible versatility. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to the Mono Music Group family. The sky is truly the limit, and we can’t wait for the world to hear what she creates.
Diamond’s recent run has been heavy. She earned a #1 spot on the CBC Top 20 and a SOCAN Rock Award for “Hold Me” by The Strumbellas, which spent more than 30 consecutive weeks on cross-platform national radio rotation.
She also wrote and produced on Dom Vallie’s See You When I See You, nominated for Rap Album of the Year at the JUNO Awards, and was named one of Splice’s Producers to Watch in 2025. Further recognition includes a Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year nomination from the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, a curated Amazon Music playlist, Written by Kayla Diamond, and a Women in Music Canada nomination for Excellence in Sound.
Alongside her creative work, Diamond is also building from the executive side. In 2024, she launched Kolossal Records, a joint venture with Awesome Music and The Orchard focused on developing emerging Canadian talent.
That dual role matters. Diamond is not only moving as a producer-for-hire or songwriter in the room. She is building rights, relationships, artist infrastructure, and international reach around her own creative identity.
For FM PRO TECH, this is where the story lands: producers are no longer hidden behind the credits. The smartest ones are becoming executives, label builders, sync operators, and global creative businesses.
Kayla Diamond’s Mono Music Group signing puts that shift in plain view.
