Powerful Dublin singer Mary Byrne, who is being mentored by Louis Walsh, brought the house down, during X Factor live show, with her amazing version of James Brown’s It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World.
Dannii said: ‘You have brought the house down here. Mary, I can only say that is one of the best vocal performances on the show. It would be an absolute crime if you went back to your day job.’

Simon added: ‘We’ve had some real diversity but regardless of age, people love a trier and you came out here tonight and you gave it 110%.’

And Louis gushed: ‘The Tesco lady from Dublin has become a diva! I am so so proud of you Mary, I so believe in you.’
And X Factor fans have a clear idea on who is the real star of the show, here some of the many messages for Mary:

‘She nailed it! amazing performance and she looks fabulous’

‘Have to say the first show was fantastic and I think they all done well but I have to say Mary Byrne was outstanding and a DIVA in the making Louis look after Mary and take her all the way.’

‘The first show was amazing, a great start to another year. However depsite all these kids (Cher and Katie are not great, sorry folks) Mary Byrne was simply outstanding. She has real raw talent and sings with such emotion, this was probably why the audience loved it and she keeps it so real. She has her moves and boy can she sing. Keep the flag flying for all those over 28 Mary, you are amazing, well done to the judges for recognising such talent.’

‘Love mary she is one to watch ! great show !’

‘I think she have got a great personality ‘
