WESTLIFE’S Nicky Byrne has taken some time out from recording the band’s new album to send a message to fans.
The singer, who recently became a father of twins, said they were back in the studio after a well earned break.
He posted: “After taking a few months off to unwind after the tour, we’re finally back in the studio.
“We’ve been busy working on the new album for the past couple of weeks and are having a really great timeâ€.
Westlife’s last offering, The Love Album, was released in December last year and went straight in at number one.
But fans are eager for new songs from the boy band.
Nicky said to fans: “I know you’ve all been dying to hear some new material from us, so you’ll be pleased to hear that the album will have loads of brand new tracks on.
“We’re due to finish in the studio this week and then we’re jetting off abroad next week to shoot the video.
“Can’t give too much away at the moment, but stay tuned and we’ll let you know a bit more about it soonâ€.
