US sibling trio, We Three have just released their latest single – a heartfelt Christmas song called Our Last Christmas Eve. It’s a beautiful song with a heart-rending video and has the band reflecting on memories of their final Christmas with their mother. At a time when so many are thinking of the family members and friends that are no longer with us, We Three celebrate the small things that make Christmas what it is.
Vocalist / guitarist Manny Humlie said, “This song is about the most memorable Christmas I have. Knowing it’s your last Christmas with your mother is not an easy thing to come to terms with. But within all the painful memories there are so many beautiful ones as well. There are some heavy lyrics, but I hope when you listen you can feel the beautiful parts as well.”
The official video will have you reaching for the tissues with lots of home video flashbacks from their childhood. And while the video has a serious side there is still room for some Christmas fun.
Our Last Christmas Eve is the title track to the band’s new EP, which is out now and also features the vocal talents of Noah Guthrie on the indie/folk-pop love song When I’m With You. The 3rd track on the EP is an updated 2020 version of Heaven’s Not Too Far which sounds like the much loved original but now with a alt-pop donk and a grungey edge. This is a brilliant EP from a band that just over two years ago were unknowns auditioning on America’s Got Talent. Their emotionally charged tribute to their late mother, Heaven’s Not Too Far , struck a chord with so many people and reduced judge Mel B to tears.
