VIDEO HIGHLIGHT: TELEMAN ‘SKELETON DANCE’

TelemanTeleman – Thomas Sanders (vocals, guitar), Hiro Amamiya (drums), Jonny Sanders (synths) and Pete Cattermoul (bass) – share a weirdly awesome Bauhaus-inspired video for their new single ‘Skeleton Dance’, directed by their own Jonny Sanders. The track is taken from Teleman’s smart debut album ‘Breakfast’, which is out now.
Check out fast-rising multi-instrumentalist Boxed In’s rework of the track…

Jonny and Tom have explain: “The video was conceived as a non-narrative, collage based collection of fun elements and colours. We started with Bauhaus Theatre Mask designs by Oskar Schlemmer which to our knowledge have never actually been physically made before now. Then we rotated succulents and fruit on a turntable.

We combined this with some basic Bhangra dance moves. All the rest was just having fun in the edit. There’s also references throughout to our first video we made for ‘Cristina'”
