VANESSA CARLTON RETURNS WITH NEW ALBUM + FIRST UK AND EUROPEAN TOUR IN TWELVE YEARS

Vanessa CarltonVanessa Carlton returns with a new sound, new album ‘Liberman’, released on 29th April in the UK/EU via Dine Alone Records/Caroline International and announces her first UK and European tour in 12 years.

The album’s title is originated from a colorful oil painting by her grandfather (Liberman)…Vanessa explains: “I looked up what Liberman means and it’s ‘honorable man’ and ‘my beloved’ – all these things that just felt right to me. It’s a strong family name that, in a weird way, describes the music to me.”

Standout track ‘Matter of Time’ appears on the album…

The rather personal and poignant album – recorded with Steve Osborne and Adam Landry – gives an insight of Vanessa’s current state of mind since moving from NYC to Nashville, marrying husband John McCauley (Deer Tick) and having a baby girl.Vanessa Carlton1A 18-track deluxe version of ‘Liberman’, will be released the same day featuring an additional collection of Living Room Sessions and an original demo.
