Having reaffirmed their place in the world of pop with a recent run of infectious singles, transatlantic talents Valencia have tapped Ohio singer-producer Alex Angelo for the new collaboration No Caller ID.
Since debuting on the scene in 2019 under their combined alias with the single Light of You, California singer-songwriter Jadeyn Madsen and Londoner Lou Courts have explored various sonics, with the production on their first three singles channeling audible influences from everything from tropical house to hip-hop.
No Caller ID is an ode to the passion and drama of drunken phone-calls. Primarily centred around Valencia’s harmonious vocals, the song features a sung bridge as well as production credits from Alex Angelo, who lays down a vibrant combination of intricate bass guitar licks, pitched-up vocal cuts and muted piano chords to make for addictive results.
