London-based band Artificial Pleasure, return and shine with ‘Wound Up Tight’, another dose of their engagingly smart & sharp electro-pop delight.
“It’s about feeling on edge, as if this state of anxiety and constant worry has now become normality,” explain the band. “It could be overthinking every phrase, worrying about what people say, comparing yourself to everyone else, or trying to second guess people.”
‘Wound Up Tight’ is the title track their self-produced EP, released on December 8th. Interestingly it was recorded at home and in frontman Phil McDonnell’s uncle’s basement.
Artificial Pleasure will play their last gig of 2017 when the headline The Lexington on December 12th.
