[[]]togethermachine’s Top 5 Hotspots in Rotterdam:

1. Ollie Café Bar Expo

2. Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen

Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen is the world’s first publicly accessible art storage facility. The depot is located next to Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Museumpark in Rotterdam. Visitors can see the result of 173 years of collecting. More than 151,000 objects are housed together, arranged in fourteen storage compartments with five different climates. 3. Café De Ouwehoer

So steamy is the atmosphere at Café De Ouwehoer, in the heart of Rotterdam’s former harbour red light district, that you might think manly seamen and ladies of leisure will come staggering in at any moment. The people who come to Café De Ouwehoer are out for a good old pub experience: they chew the fat, drink beer and whiskey, and have a good bite to eat, surrounded by alcohol and the kind of pinups that keep a sailor going on a long voyage.

4. Hotel New York

Hotel New York is situated in the former headquarters of the Holland-America Line on the ‘Kop van Zuid’ in Rotterdam. From here, thousands of emigrants left for North America, persuing a better life. Today, people come here to sleep, eat, drink, marry, meet or celebrate. The instant you enter the building, you can feel it; here is where it all happened. The sense of nostalgia is everywhere!

5. Dutch Pinball Museum

Over 100 pinball machines, you can play all night for a small amount. Grab a pint, invite your friends. All pinball machines you remember from childhood..they are all there!
