The evocatively named Tin Man Falls is an emerging Vienna-based indie electronic project, by singer Joseph Robinson, producer Felipe Scolfaro Crema and multi-instrumentalist Edo Mjusik. TMF takes notes from influences including James Blake, Justin Timberlake, Simple Minds and Chet Faker, and explores an intersection of meaning and pop. They achieve this through contemplative and approachable songs, on narrative topics such as growing up in an artistic desert, struggling to reclaim your truth and teaching yourself how to flourish. The creators behind TMF highlight the album’s subject matter as “a reflection on the experiences of loss, letting go and stepping into the power that repeats again and again on the journey toward ourselves and finding our place in the world.”

TMF‘s self-titled debut wears a compelling heart on its sleeve, with emotionally honest lyrics empowered by a captivating and dynamic indie/electronic soundscape. With memorable hooks, chill grooves, and warmth of its emotional range, it’s an inspiriting and highly listenable first offering.
