Summer is in full swing, and The Mars McClanes’ new release Wherever You Go is here as a friendly reminder that if you haven’t already taken a road trip this summer – you’re missing out. The band’s criteria is simple: If you’ve got a car or a van, and some friends, you’ve got a plan – time to hit the road!

On this track, The Mars McClanes (Brian Corley, Russ Chapman, Paul Constantine) deliver some husky classic rock vocals over some bouncy, zingy guitar chords and a drumbeat that is really hard to not tap your feet along to.

Wherever You Go is the perfect song to kickstart the summer of fun that the world needs right now. It’s got a really youthful charm about it, full of bounce and zest for life. The lyrics are memorable and do a great job of persuading the listener to get out on the open road and make some memories of their own.

“Every summer needs a song about the open road, and this is ours,” muses Corley. “This track sounds great with the windows down,” says Chapman.

The band split up all the way back in 2001 but are now blissfully back together again, ready to take on the world one feel-good tune at a time. You can check out the song at the link below.

We also highly recommend checking out their latest blog post (that’s right, they have a blog). It’s a companion piece to their latest track, a helpful list of ‘’places to go’’ – it’s a great read that definitely gives some insight to the way these guys think. marsmcclanes.com/blog
