Katherine Jenkins` concert with the Ulster Orchestra at Belfast`s Waterfront this week marked an unforgettable night out for many in the capacity audience. But one person who will never forget the showpiece event was 10-year old Sophie Noble from Glengormley. Waterfront Managing Director Tim Husbands fixed it for Sophie to fulfill her ambition and meet her idol on stage when she presented the singing superstar with a bouquet at the end of her amazing concert. Katherine Jenkins performed a wide range of musical styles at the Waterfront from Andrew Lloyd Webber`s Pie Jesu to famous musical numbers including Bernstein`s Somewhere from West Side Story and I Could Have Danced All Night from My Fair Lady.
Also receiving the Katherine Jenkins treatment were the Carlos Donida classic, I Who Have Nothing, Chanson from Bizet`s world famous opera, La Boheme, and Michael Kamen`s Requiem For A soldier.
