Manchester alt-rock trio The Slow Day return with All We Left Behind, a new single exploring heartbreak, bad decisions, and the lessons that eventually make healthier love possible.
Recorded at Manchester’s Dead Basic Studios, All We Left Behind was produced by Lewis Brookes and mastered by Pete Maher, moving from reflective verses into a powerful, emotionally charged chorus. Adam (The Slow Day) says:
It’s a song about learning that the wrong relationships aren’t wasted time. Every mistake, every heartbreak and every bad decision teaches you something. The older you get, the more you realise those lessons are what allow you to fully appreciate the person who finally makes everything make sense.

Formed in 2019, The Slow Day blend Americana, blues, indie rock, and high-impact emotional songwriting.
After stepping away in 2020, the trio returned with a sold-out Manchester comeback show in 2025, followed by *Antidote* in February 2026.

All We Left Behind is out now via Little Pic Records.
