The Savage Hearts Strike Fast on Debut EP ‘Radio Silence’

The Savage Hearts compress urgency into impact on debut EP Radio Silence.

Written through the pandemic and recorded almost entirely live at Darklands Studio in Dublin, it’s raw, instinctive, and intentionally unpolished, driven by internal noise and motion rather than refinement.

Drawing from 60s garage grit, punk abrasion, and psychedelic looseness, Radio Silence hits hard and fast. The title track snarls out of the gate, while This Time Tomorrow drives forward on bold guitars and a soul-leaning swing, capturing life caught mid-transition.

Production stays close to the source. Dan Doherty (early Fontaines D.C.) captures the band in motion rather than containment. At the same time, Eugenio Collinassi’s brass and sax arrangements inject bite and drama.

Led by former Strypes drummer Evan Walsh with Darragh Muldoon, Stef Byrne, and Collinassi, The Savage Hearts move as a single, high-voltage unit. Irish No.1 singles, major support slots, and festival runs across Ireland and the UK set the pace. Radio Silence confirms it.

Radio Silence is loud, restless, and alive; a band choosing immediacy over refinement, and volume over hesitation.
