The Mild West, a band from Chicago, just released Pathetic, a song about the struggle of doubts and insecurities. Their first bop pop-rock was released this year, it’s all about self-doubt and digital worries and online comparison that we all go by.

Talking about their song Pathetic the band said: “This happy-sounding sad song is about never feeling good enough in an increasingly picture-perfect world of social media perfectionism. Despite this darkness, it serves as an anthem to remind yourself how “enough” you are when the world tries to make you feel like you’re falling behind.”

The band’s new EP Strangers features the single Pathetic as the main song. The 5-track project by The Mild West will give us a better glimpse of their talent and creativeness. Every song they do is packed with sleek production, multiple sounds and thoughtful lyrical content.

The Mild West have been making waves in the Chicago music scene since 2018 with their dynamic gigs and upbeat early singles. Taking inspiration from popular rock acts like The Killers and Walk the Moon, this band has found their own sound that is full of uplifting melodies, memorable hooks and powerful vocals.
