London-based exciting 5-piece The Carnabys – Ben Gittins, Mike Delizo, Jack Mercer, Frankie Connolly and James Morgan – follow their excellent work as the youngest patrons of the lauded Music Venue Trust, announcing their partnership with fashion label Ben Sherman, which has been synonymous with the British music since the 1960s.
The band’s lead singer Jack Mercer explains: “It’s absolutely fantastic for all five of us. Ben Sherman has been a big part of the UK rock scene for decades now; some truly amazing bands have worn their clothes. Bands who, like us, started out playing tiny venues as often as they physically could.”For the proactive initiative called ‘Save Live Music’, the band is putting their album, ‘Too Much Never Enough’ up for pre-sale 3-months in advance of its release in August and will donate all their earnings to The Music Venue Trust. Lifted from their forthcoming album here’re ‘Scars And Safety Pins’, a powerful and yet softly significant tune, about self harm and fragility. And their promising first single ‘Peaches and Bleach’.
