The American Hotel System, hailing from Grand Rapids, MI, has really made an impact in the alt rock industry and have a lot to share.

Frontman Jacob Betts and his band embark on a new musical journey with their alt-rock song Seattle, which narrates the love story between him and his beloved wife Ashley. Their bond was put to the test when he was diagnosed with TBI. This song reflects their struggles and how they eventually emerged as victors together…”love is the storm we need”.

The band states: Seattle has taken three years to get just right, and we are so excited to finally share it with you! It seems like we are bombarded with division every time we open our newsfeeds or turn on our televisions with a constant storm of chaos and rage. We believe that love is the storm we need to stretch, grow, and blossom into new life.”

It begins with anthemic vibes and killer riffs. You can feel the grandeur from that first second, especially with those huge drums and guitar parts that make it so awesome.

This band stands out with its unique chord structures and melodic progressions, creating a huge wall of cascading rock music.

The American Hotel System continue with exploring traditional rock ‘n’ roll and bringing their own unique sound to the table. It is full of heartfelt lyrics, complex melodies and a huge live performance that truly brings everything together.

They’ve been supporting Bon Jovi for a while now and released their first album The Sunken Truth in 2019, which got them tonnes of recognition. After the launch of their live album, they picked up the LA Music prize.

The new single Seattle is a big step forward for The American Hotel System and they are now setting even bigger objectives for 2023.
