Recent search data analysis has revealed a significant gap in merchandise demand between Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, with Swift leading by a whopping 14 times. This surprising finding comes on the heels of Beyoncé’s recent record-breaking album release, Cowboy Carter.

Chummy Tees‘ recent analysis of Google search data over the past month shows “Taylor Swift merch” demand averaging 1,300% higher than “Beyoncé merch.” Despite Beyoncé’s recent album success, Swift’s upcoming release, The Tortured Poets Department, slated for April 19th, is generating even more anticipation.

Josh Neuman, the founder of Chummy Tees, commented on the findings, stating, “Beyoncé’s new album, Cowboy Carter, has made waves in the music industry with its chart-topping success and innovative merchandise offerings. However, the buzz surrounding Swift’s upcoming project, The Tortured Poets Department, is palpable. Although only pre-orders for the album are currently available, we anticipate a broader merchandise line to follow.”
