South London alt-rock agitator Oliver Anderson unleashes To Kill A Saint. A raw, confrontational five-track EP staring down taboo, political decay, and buried impulses.

Led by its volatile title track, the project cements Anderson as one of the UK’s most unsettling new voices.

Earlier shots like Sinking Ship attacked corruption head-on, while Echo Chamber spiralled into mental health and suicide. To Kill A Saint goes further. A month at Holywell Studios with producer Jennings Couch, diving into distortion and emotional rupture, with brief flickers of light before the EP locks into its bleak, heavyweight alt-rock core.

The title track is the fault line. Written alongside Echo Chamber, it turns personal collapse into something broader and more corrosive — folding religious persecution, witch hunts, and moral violence into a tense mix of gothic western, classic rock grit, and post-punk unease. No comfort. No resolution. Just pressure. Anderson says:

To Kill A Saint is a direct call-out. The bloody past behind the peaceful façade.

That refusal to soften the message defines the EP. There’s no provocation for shock’s sake here…just an artist following the discomfort where it leads.

With To Kill A Saint, Oliver Anderson commits fully to controversy. Focused and volatile, the EP lands as a clear statement of intent. Sharpening Anderson’s voice and signalling a project built to push louder, harder, and further from here.
