To demonstrate how great music can bring different cultures and communities together, the good people at Smirnoff (and their new Smirnoff Electric Liqueur) have partnered with the excitingly ambitious Canadian singer and multi-instrumentalist, Kiesza, and Los Angeles-based beat maker Djemba Djemba, for their new mega tune ‘Give It To The Moment’, all of the #WhatWeBring movement.
This Summer Keisza and Djemba met up for 2 days of “spontaneously badass collaboration” to create ‘Give It To The Moment’. The stunningly uplifting video to accompany the track and campaign, also features an inspiring same-sex wedding celebration on a crowded Bangkok street.
The video mirrors perfectly the essence of the #WhatWeBring movement: A truly global celebration of diversity in all its shapes and forms…Different ages, races, genders, sexuality, cultures and styles.
The inventive idea behind #WhatWeBring movement, is to bring together the most gifted young electronic dance music artists from around the world, including Laura Jones of the UK, Toy Selectah from Mexico, Nozinja of South Africa, KosmoKat of Japan and Cassian of Australia, to remix Keisza’s new dance anthem ‘Give It To The Moment’ featuring Djemba Djemba.Speaking about the project Kiesza says: “#WhatWeBring’s aim is to show how creativity is all connected, and spawns multiple extensions of new inspiration, from a single source”.
The #WhatWeBring campaign will culminate with an exciting documentary about the wonderful multiplicity of music, views, stories, influences and creativity converging from all around the globe. The stylish bottles of Smirnoff Electric Liqueur – available in two exquisite flavours Berry and Mandarin – feature fluorescent colours that activate under black light…
