Austrian artist SAmMU shares Ivar Der Knochenlose – Epic Nordic Song, a thunderous Viking metal single shaped by Norse legend, saga language, and ritual force.
The track draws from Ívarr inn Beinlausi – Ivar the Boneless – turning his rise into a dark, cinematic piece of willpower, strategy, vengeance, and mythic scale.
Slow-to-mid-tempo rhythms, commanding riffs, ritual drums, deep growls, and choral chants give the single the weight of an ancient war hymn.
Behind SAmMU is Austrian creative Heiko Grabner, whose Saga meets Music project draws from Norse sagas, Viking history, Germanic heroic legends, and original languages including Old Norse, Old High German, and Middle High German.
With Ivar Der Knochenlose – Epic Nordic Song, SAmMU builds a dense Viking metal world where history, myth, archaic language, and modern heaviness collide.
