Audiovisual artist and performer Ruby Tingle’s ‘Flood’ is the first single to be released from her 5 track EP ‘Lagoons’ which explores the romance of dancing alone at night in imagined wetlands, whilst desiring connection with someone else.

She is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist working with progressive electronica in Manchester, represented by No Such Thing Records and PAPER Gallery Manchester.

Ruby’s music mixes natural sound processes and high-range celestial vocals to compose original and dreamy, experimental “music from the swamp”. Kate Bush would be an easy comparison but Ruby brings her own melting pot of influences and experiences in the art world into her music which could be described as ‘avant-garde pop’. A ‘Flood’ of intriguing sounds and haunting vocals, this single leaves us wanting more.
