A thrilling new talent on the R&B circuit, Rex Evans’ latest EP Dissonant is a defining release that is set to be blasting from speakers worldwide this summertime.

Opening with a lead single In For The Night, the attitude is set for the seven-track offering, as Rex borrows trap-tinged 808’s, warped synth patterns, and his signature hooks to make a striking statement. Described as being about “learning what’s important and prioritizing those things over everything else”, it’s an instant banger that blends an array of genres with ease.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Rex’s early childhood was consumed by music, with his mother having performed on records by the likes of Madonna, TLC and Jay-Z, so it was inevitable that he would follow a similar path. After racking up a mighty 200,000 Spotify streams on a multitude of his tracks, including ‘Lil Shawty’ and ‘40’, he has begun to establish himself as a true breakthrough artist of the year, refusing to stick to just one lane and instead of creating his own.

A slick and stylish release from the multi-faceted musician, Rex Evans is an artist well worth your attention.
