In the vibrant tapestry of Sweden’s music realm, a seismic force has erupted, and its name is Repeat.

Hailing from the pulsating core of Stockholm, this stoner rock juggernaut, birthed by the creative minds of Torbjörn Hallberg and Johan Holmberg, fueled by the rhythmic finesse of bassist Mattias Belin, stands poised to quake the foundations of the rock world.

Their passage unfurls with the release of the inaugural single, the aptly titled Repeat, a harbinger of the sonic storm that heralds their self-titled debut album. Torbjörn Hallberg, the virtuoso guitarist and vocalist at the helm, is a seasoned navigator of the musical landscape, his roots embedded deep in the dynamic Stockholm scene.

A musical convergence unfolds as he unites with Johan Holmberg, formerly of the revered Swedish ska rock ensemble Liberator, and the pulsating basslines woven by the adept fingers of Mattias Belin.

Repeat emerges as a fusion of distinct musical minds, a collective synergy of talent endeavoring to etch its indelible mark within the labyrinth of stoner and alternative rock.

“The idea behind the album is to provide a short and explosive experience of repetitive aggressive songs. We truly prefer the short formats and a direct presence. The mix of stoner rock and alternative rock with loud very fuzzy guitars, rumbling bass, and aggressive yet stiff drums, bring a unique progressive style of our own” articulates Repeat.

The single Repeat, a prelude to their eponymous debut, encapsulates the very essence of the band. It’s a sonic pilgrimage that intertwines the heavy, hypnotic grooves of stoner rock with the gritty allure of alternative rock. The repetitive riffs and authoritative lyrics generate a magnetic force that beckons listeners into the expansive universe crafted by Repeat—a rallying cry for aficionados of stoner rock, desert rock, and alternative music enthusiasts alike.

Crafted under the watchful expertise of Joakim Lindberg at Studio Sickan in Malmö, Sweden, the self-titled opener serves as the sonic compass, guiding listeners into the album’s immersive world. As the journey unfolds, traversing standout tracks such as I Don’t Know and Out of Control, culminating in the grand finale with the closing track Harder, it becomes unmistakably clear that the album stands as a testament to the painstaking craftsmanship that shaped its inception.

The sonic landscapes, meticulously shaped with precision, resonate with the raw energy and intensity that define Repeat‘s distinctive sound. Masterfully mastered by Magnus Lindberg at Redmount Studios in Stockholm, the album unfolds as a sonic revelation—a journey that traverses the pulsating heart of stoner and alternative rock.

Get ready, because Repeat has arrived to etch its sonic mark deep into the essence of rock.
