RATIONALE Delves Into His R&B Influences On WHISKEY REGRETS

The first of several new releases set to come this year from the London-based multi-instrumentalist Rationale, Whiskey Regrets digs deeper into the singer’s R&B influences as he sings of the bitter memory of drunk texting an ex-lover.

The track features beautiful guest vocals by fast rising singer-songwriter TS Graye as the pair harmonise, taking it in turns to lead alternating verses. Its smooth and slow-burning nature creates a great sense of space, allowing you as the listener to immerse yourself in the luscious multi-layered vocals and intermittent blues guitar licks.

Whiskey Regrets is inspired by a story a friend of mine once told me about drunk texting an ex-lover, only to wake up horrified at his actions the next day.” explains Rationale “Musically speaking, I wanted to dig deeper into my R&B influences, and work with the wonderful talent that is TS Graye.”

Rationale is due to play London’s prestigious O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 3rd September, after the original date in April was rescheduled, due to restrictions around the Coronavirus. Tickets are available here!
