Leeds 4-piece Post War Glamour Girls share, as a free download, ‘Red Terror’ Sky Larkin remix. A dark and beautiful rework of the original track from their impressive debut album’ ‘Pink Fur’ (out now).
The band say: “It’s a radical reinvention of our version musically speaking, but Katie from Sky Larkin captured the vulnerability and fear we were conveying in the original perfectly. I hope her foot gets better soon… In honour, we might start playing this version live instead. It’ll give our Ben a bit of a rest mid-set anyway…”
Katie Harkin of Sky Larkin explains: “This is a dystopian synth-prog remix I made whilst housebound with an injured foot. I funnelled the song through my claustrophobia and cabin fever. Enjoy/endure.”
Here’s ‘Pink Fur’.
