PET SHOP BOYS ‘SUPER’: ‘IT WAS FANTASTIC TO BE BACK IN THE STUDIO WITH STUART PRICE’

Pet Shop Boys announce the release of their new album ‘Super’ – produced and mixed by Stuart Price – on x2 Records (through Kobalt Label Services) for April 1.

The legendary duo Tennant/Lowe said: “It was fantastic to be back in the studio with Stuart Price continuing from where we left off with ‘Electric’ and we’re thrilled with the results. It’s also very exciting to take electronic music into the Royal Opera House – such a grand and beautiful venue. These will be four very special nights for us and our only UK concerts this year.”

‘The Pop Kids’ is the first single from the album, a PSB take on the London club scene of the early 90s.

PSB have also announced a residency – called ‘Inner Sanctum’ and created by PSB designer Es Devlin and choreographer Lynne Page – of four very special concerts at London’s Royal Opera House on July 20, 21, 22, 23.

Tickets for ‘Inner Sanctum’ are now available from roh.org.uk/psb
Ticket prices: £25 – £100 (including 80 standing tickets in the orchestra pit of the Royal Opera House).
