Originating from York, the captivating band One Iota unveils their latest offering, More Than This. This single features a harmonious mix that nods to The Beatles’ immortal tunes, weaves in Pink Floyd’s progressive style, and adds a unique modern twist that is distinctly their own.

After recording a hit album at the renowned Abbey Road Studios, One Iota is taking their musical journey a step further with More Than This, showcasing their ongoing evolution and fresh take on the classic pop-rock sound. The single showcases a journey from heartfelt piano melodies to catchy pop vocals and rousing guitar solos, encapsulating the essence of what makes classic rock enduring while infusing it with contemporary relevance.

Originally formed as a Beatles tribute trio named The Threetles, One Iota embraced the lockdown as a period of artistic growth and transformation. Adding a drummer to their lineup, they ventured into the realm of original music, resulting in their 2022 album More Than You Take. This album marked a significant milestone, celebrating the art of melodic songwriting while drawing inspiration from musical legends. Yet, One Iota’s approach was far from traditional. They personally delivered their record by cycling to shops and homes and performed a memorable live set in the chilly expanse of the North Yorkshire moors.

Apart from their musical pursuits, the members of One Iota are known for their adventurous spirits, from cycling across the Scottish Highlands to engaging in pub crawls and mastering the Rubik’s cube in record time.

One Iota consists of Adam Dawson, who handles vocals, keyboards, and guitars; Andrew Bowen, known for his lead guitar and vocal contributions; James Brown, who brings his talent on both acoustic and electric guitars along with vocals; and Phil Everard, who completes the ensemble with his skills on drums and vocals.

As More Than This readies for release, One Iota stands at the forefront of a new wave in pop rock, blending the best of the past with the fresh energy of the present. Their story is a testament to the enduring power of classic influences combined with the undeniable charm of genuine, heartfelt music-making.
